In 2020, Rêvasser Films launched Guernsey Filmworks, a local production division dedicated to creating feature films set in Guernsey, Channel Islands, for international audiences. Their aim is to bring stories from the islands—both historical and contemporary—to the big screen.
By producing films locally, they contribute to Guernsey’s economy, support tourism, and provide educational opportunities. Guernsey Filmworks actively involves the community by encouraging locals to audition for roles, join the crew, or participate as interns, offering valuable hands-on experience and inspiring the next generation of filmmakers.
Their productions often feature renowned casts while promoting local talent, culture, and landscapes, helping put Guernsey on the global filmmaking map.
Liberate is a Guernsey-registered charity founded in 2014 to promote fairness, equality, and inclusion across the Bailiwick of Guernsey, including Alderney, Sark, and Herm. They campaign for legal reform and social acceptance, working with and for the LGBTQ+ community to bring about positive change. By acting as role models and amplifying LGBTQ+ voices, they aim to foster a more inclusive and understanding society.
Liberate is committed to building support services for LGBTQ+ individuals at every stage of life and envisions a community where everyone is treated equally, regardless of identity, background, or belief.
